The Story
I spent five years as a software engineer — ERP systems, real-time video infrastructure, reservation platforms, enterprise integrations. Different companies, different domains, one constant: production-grade engineering or nothing.
While doing all of that, I was building a second layer. Not using AI tools — building them. A local LLM engine from scratch. Self-correcting RAG architectures. Agent orchestration patterns. Evaluation frameworks before RAGAS became a standard hiring signal. The technical discipline translated directly.
In June 2026, I made it official. AI Engineer, full time. Now building 12 projects at unickai.com — each one a deployed artifact, not a tutorial clone.
